Modern heating radiators are represented in a wide variety of colors, shapes and sizes. They have a large number of additional functions. All this allows for each room to choose the most optimal option.
The specific dimensions of the radiators are determined by heating power. For each room, this parameter is calculated separately. Most often, radiators are installed under the windowsill, t.e. On the outer wall. Their width is approximately equal to the width of the window. If there are several windows, then a different placement of radiators is possible: either in places of frequent location of people, or under all windows.
The placement of radiators under the windows prevents the penetration of cold air into the room. Also, heat radiation compensates for its leakage through glazed planes.
If glazing in the room is solid: from floor to ceiling, then special radiators are selected. They have a small height so as not to spoil the view from the window, have high heat transfer and close the protective screen, which prevents heat through glass. Another option is the installation of heating elements in the floor.
For each room, you can choose the most convenient and energetically effective heating radiator.
