Cork floors, part 1

In the modern market for building and finishing materials, you can find a huge number of all kinds of flooring of both synthetic and natural origin. Of course, the decision in favor of a particular material is made on the basis of the specific needs of the buyer, but any flooring should be environmentally friendly and wear -resistant, also an important factor is its price.

Today, cork flooring is gaining more and more popularity. A cork tree grows in the Mediterranean, historically, exporters of cork raw materials are considered France, Italy, Portugal, Algeria, Spain. In ancient times, people noted the valuable properties of a cork oak bark. Its low density, elasticity, heat and moisture insulation properties allowed to use a cork in various fields of industry. In construction, this material has been used for a long time – the crushed cork was added to cement solutions for the manufacture of bricks and tiles. You may also be interested in custom -made metal structures.

As a floor covering, the cork is used relatively recently, but has already managed to prove itself as a beautiful and practical material. Thanks to the original drawing and its discreet harmonious appearance, the cork easily fits into any design from classics to interior in high-tech style. The cork coating is a multi -layer structure made in the form of a rectangular tile.
