A grinder is called an angle grinding machine. This tool is suitable not only for polishing, but also for cutting materials. 1. The most difficult thing is to make an incision on the tile. Its surface is slippery enough, so it is not easy to hold the tool in one position. But when the diamond disk “draws” the line, it will be enough to make a little effort to break the tile.
2. Buy discs for concrete work (diamond for wet cut). Do not use disks with a diameter of more than 230 mm with a grinder.
3. When working with a grinder, set a speed not exceeding 3-5 thousand revolutions per minute. If the rotation is faster, the tile will begin to crack. The hot chips can get to the human body or cause a fire: make sure that there are no things nearby that can quickly light up.
4. Cut should be “from yourself” according to the marking pre -applied to the tile.
5. Taking safety measures is not the last thing when cutting tiles. Put on closed shoes made of dense material. If you use a grinding machine incorrectly, it can be pulled out of your hands. The circle is also sometimes broken into pieces in the process, scattering at a speed of about 360 km/h. Make sure that the discs enter the material at right angles, without tilt. Change them in time and do not perform grinding surfaces using a circle for cutting.
6. Sometimes problems arise due to the low quality of diamond discs. Buy materials produced by firms known in the market that are trusting among masters.
