Euro pallets (wooden pallets, pallets) are used in different industries for transporting goods. For this, lifting devices (fork loaders, hydraulic type carts) and manual labor are used. Their main advantage is a variety of ways to place transport containers in warehouses. This helps the optimization of warehouse work, as well as the sale of a pallet, since they are very in demand on the market.
Euro pallets are most often used in retail type trade, since their size is most suitable for transporting goods in trucks, but, however, this type of container is also suitable for transporting or storage of products of different classes.
As a rule, the production of wooden pallets is based on the use of various materials. Euro pallets are in special demand. They are made of wood with natural humidity such breeds as pine, birch, spruce and aspen of different varieties by GOSTs: 8486-86, 2695-83, 9557-87, 9078-84.
This type of structure consists of a three-month base, on which 9 bobes (cubes) and five-seven-eater flooring are placed. Pallet boards are necessarily attached to the chamfers removed. All parts are fastened with the help of ruffles and screw nails, which securely connect them. Flooring size 1200×800 and 1200x1000mm. Such pallets have a carrying capacity of up to 2500 kg (with its non -standard sizes) and their own mass up to 40 kg.
Euro pallets of Russian production are based on 2 key documents: GOST 9078-84 and 9557-87. The first standard shows only the requirements for the type of material and size, and in the second, the UIC 435-2 European standard for the production of euro pallets is duplicated almost completely. True, without the relevant certification documents, they do not establish stamps with the inscription EUR and EPAL. Such pallets are marked BC (without stigma).
If the transport container has an EUR or EPAL stamp, then it is manufactured directly in Europe in accordance with the requirements established by the European Staff Association. This organization monitors the full cycle by which pallets are produced in a certain territory. The production of these structures is completely in accordance with the standards.
It should be noted that the Russian euro tray does not yet have EPAL representatives, but in this direction the work has already begun and is advancing in full swing.
