Next, the whitewash with the help of a spatula carefully remove. Wet whitewashing is very easily removed. After the main whitewash is removed, it is necessary to remove the remains. To do this, you can apply a sponge. Wash off the rest more than once. Unfortunately, it is simply impossible to remove all the whitewashing at a time.
In the case when you are going to fix the products from gypsum, you should not primer the bare ceiling, since you cannot get a good result.

One of them is a sticker on old newspapers. The edges should be left without glue. Then it will be easier to grab for him. After waiting for the drying of the glue, the newspapers are carefully removed. At the same time, peeling off, the newspaper will take a layer of whitewashing with it.
Having completed the cleaning of the ceiling, you can proceed to the consolidation of gypsum products. Of course, if the installation of a stretch ceiling is planned, all these recommendations are not needed.
