In this article, I would like to affect production and technological points in the production and use of such building material as plywood.
It is a sheets of veneer that are glued together. There can be 3, 5 or more such sheets. Usually each layer of veneer is located perpendicular to the previous. Depending on the production method, it happens:
· Strict.
· Glued.
As clear from the name of Plywood FC (hereinafter glued), it consists of several layers of veneer, which is produced by the beams of churaks. Usually for plywood FC 4 mm use the following wood:
· Oak.
· Beech.
· Olha.
· Pine.
· Lipa.
· Ilma.
· Clear.
The length, thickness and width of veneer differ depending on the goals of the use of plywood. Standard parameters of the sprouted veneer in millimeters:
1) length: 800, 1300, 1600, 1900.
2) width: Desde 150 to 800.
3) thickness: 0.35; 0.55; 0.75; 0.95; 1.15; 1.50.
Plywood FC has good flexibility, slight shrinkage and cracking. Thanks to this, this building material has excellent transportable properties.
By the method of manufacture, it is divided into:
· Dry cold.
· Dry hot.
Raw gluing hot.
By purpose, it happens:
1) facing.
2) construction.
3) a special narrow profile.
Phenol and carbide resin are used as glue.
By the number of veneers of plywood, it happens:
· 3-layer.
· 5-layer.
· Multilayer: Desde 7 to 11 layers.
A few of you have heard of such a faner as xyltequet. It is covered with a mixture of asbestos and cement from above, which provides it with better reliable protection against moisture. Also, the Xiloteite has fire resistant, acid -resistant and insulating qualities. Thanks to these properties, this brand has found wide application in shipbuilding and car construction.
Plywood metallized. In fact – this is the same fake plywood, the surface of which is covered with spraying metals. The production process is extremely simple: with the help of a spray gun molten or powdered lead, aluminio, copper or brass are applied to the sheets. Plywood 15 mm price, which is relatively small, so that it is used in the production of refrigerators and furniture.
Decorative plywood is a sheet that is glued from an odd number of layers of veneer. A film coating is applied from above, which can be supplemented with decorative paper. This type is classified by type of cladding:
· A colorless film.
· Color film.
Film and paper with a pattern, etc.p.
Decorative plywood can be faced on the one hand, on both sides, and also have a glossy or half -material surface. Scope of use: cladding and external decoration of panels, buildings, ceilings, furniture production.
Among the most popular species of decorative plywood, the following can be distinguished:
1) thickness – from 0.15 to 0.80 millimeters. Wood: black walnut, Indian sandalwood, boubing or marble. Field of application: panel cladding.
2) plywood foil. Made from sulfatocellulose paper, which is impregnated with polymers. Produced both in one color and with the texture. Resistant to high temperatures, rot and mold. Scope of application: a natural plywood substitute, interior hotel decoration.
